IJR, MATL: Big ETF Outflows

Turning today to week-over-week shares outstanding changes among the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the largest outflow was seen in the iShares S&P SmallCap 600 Index Fund (AMEX:IJR), which shed 3,600,000 shares, or a 3.6% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of IJR, in morning trading today Regeneron Pharmaceutical Incorporated (NASDAQ:REGN) is down about 0.8%, and Crocs Incorporated (NASDAQ:CROX) is up by about 3.8%.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the largest outflow was the Daily Basic Materials Bull 3x Shares (AMEX:MATL), which lost 50,000 of its shares, for a whopping 33.3% decline in outstanding shares. Among the largest underlying components of MATL, in morning trading today Materials Select Sector Spdr (AMEX:XLB) is up about 0.6%.
