Wednesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: FXH

The First Trust Health Care AlphaDEX Fund ETF (AMEX:FXH) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 1.7 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 225,000. Shares of FXH were up about 1.2% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Wednesday were Pfizer (NYSE:PFE), trading up about 0.7% with over 11.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Baxter International (NYSE:BAX), down about 3.4% on volume of over 5.5 million shares. Universal Health Services (NYSE:UHS) is the component faring the best Wednesday, higher by about 4.5% on the day, while Alexion Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ALXN) is lagging other components of the First Trust Health Care AlphaDEX Fund ETF, trading lower by about 4.7%.
